Boredom is a signal to your mind, from the spirit or divine spark that your mind needs expansion or that you need to change your path. Lethargy is the result of not making the choices you needed to at the right time, it's a culmination of past mistakes. Don't seek to ask what those might be, just be and understand when you are being you will wash away the dirt or the negative karma of your spirit. We can envision a column of gems along our spine, and each of those gems represents the aspects of that centre. This is one of those new age thoughts that I've heard of and often wondered if we can trace such a concept into the depths of India's history. This is due to new age or aeon thinkers who put forth new ideas or ideas which previously would have been out of sync with the the times around them. But sometimes these concepts need discussion and deliberation and it's great fun to have that with the divine. Imagine the power of the faith and spirit of the Tibetan Monks or lamas who sit and meditate. Another ancient example. But one of the most obscure so far I've encountered. Obscure because the material is so rare, and that is Sufism. They tell of their spiritual lessons through allegory of story, a very ancient method. There are countless examples of deep spiritual understanding being handed down through a line of people. They're like threads on God's loom of existence. And if we open ourselves to the possibility of tapping those threads, then we might possibly expanded the realm of thought and spirit around the possibilities that God provides us with. And the people we encounter are all part of that too. And we must be careful to not break or damage the thread of their existence with our words or actions. Truth if we speak it should be tempered with the appropriate amount of compassion, but there should always be compassion.
Enough of my ramblings.
