An online friend shared these poems and I've asked her permission to share them here.

~ The Wondrous Universe ~

What is the universe?
The universe exists infinitely,
It can be seen outside in outer space,
And can even exist within our own place.

Does it truly know of time?
Time exists within our own mind,
But the universe may not know mine.

Does the universe contain life?
That is only for me to dare,
Tell you the truth I will share,
That there already is life everywhere.

~ Our Beloved Mother Earth ~


Who is Mother Earth?
She is very loving and caring,
So we truly need to be sharing,
By giving much of our love back to her,
For one day soon, she may no longer be there.

Plants, insects and animals,
Oceans, lands and even the sky,
Are all a great part of her, but why?

Mother Earth is just as alive,
As both you and I,
Sometimes I can hear her cry,
And then I cannot deny,
That she too, is a part of me.
