There are times in life when we come to a cross-roads and realize that life has given us an opprtunity to move forward in a different direction than we may have ever envisioned. We humans make our lives more complex and chaotic through self-sabotaging patterns based on a being a Victim of life rather than being the one that determines our path based upon our conscious and unconscious choices. Giving attention to our lives and being aware of the short term and long term effects or results of our choices gives us a chance to follow a happier path. The happier we are, the closer we are to the choices that align with our spirit. Now, challenges, are also a fundamental part of this, the easier path is not always the best path. As the cliche says, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions" and this is where that idea came from. What appears to be easy at first glance, may in fact lead us to a much more difficult set of circumstances in the longer view. This is where patience and planning come to our aid in walking the path of life we have chosen. Irregardless of whether we're consciously or unconsciously making the choices we face, the ATTITUDE of grATITUDE is best taken even in the midst of a paifull or an experience of suffering. In those moments, we will find huge jewels of wisdom that we can carry with us the rest of our existence.
